For seven years, Piano Lab has served the Fort Hunt/Mt. Vernon area with engaging group classes from our studio, affirming that anyone can speak the language of music with the right opportunity and support.
Now, with your help, we hope to eliminate the barriers that can hinder some families from initiating or continuing their student’s music education.
Accessibility: We make it easier for students to discover the countless benefits of playing the piano by bringing our mobile classes directly to their school.
Financial Equity: Our foundation offers scholarships for students facing financial constraints to join our 6-week courses or ongoing classes.
Special Needs Inclusion: Our mobile classrooms cater to students with special needs, providing a unique access point to communication and self-expression through music.

We will take care of ALMOST everything. Here’s how it works.

Initial Meeting: We collaborate with your Family Liaison/Administrator to schedule the 6-week course, determine scholarship allocation, and confirm logistics.

Announcement: We provide customized text and email messages as well as printed flyers, directing families to a unique program page with registration details. See Example Here.

Communication: We maintain a roster of registered and scholarship families, and provide ongoing updates and support via phone and email.

6-Week Jumpstart Program: We equip students with all necessary materials, including keyboards, group games, take-home resources, and post-class review videos.

Invitation: After the introductory program, students can continue lessons at our studio or online, with scholarships available for those with financial constraints.
